History of INNOVEN PARTENAIRES

  • 1998 INNOVEN PARTENAIRES raises its first FCPI Fund (Fonds Commun de Placement dans l’Innovation), a new financial product providing a tax relief to retail investors and aimed at encouraging investments in companies developing innovative technologies.
  • 2001 The French Post Office (LA POSTE) selects INNOVEN PARTENAIRES to manage venture capital funds raised through its network of 17,000 outlets. The first FCPI Poste Innovation Fund is raised.
  • 2004 INNOVEN PARTENAIRES is acquired by a group of international investors. For Innoven Partenaires, this change reinforces its European network and reach.
  • 2007 - 2008 INNOVEN PARTENAIRES raises the first fund of Innoven Europe family of Funds and the first ISF fund INNOVEN CAPITAL.
  • 2008 INNOVEN PARTENAIRES celebrates its 10 year anniversary as a recognized Private Equity player.

  • 2000 MARCOPOLY is sold to France Telecom, one of the main transactions of the e-commerce sector in Europe in 2000.
  • 2002 DIGIPLUG, a company specialised in multimedia contents for mobile phones, is sold to Faith, a Japanese company, as part of one of the major acquisitions in the sector in Europe in 2002.
  • 2002 VOXAN, positioned on the segment of premium motorcycles is placed in receivership as a result of the withdrawal of an industrial investor.
  • 2005 3 INNOVEN PARTENAIRES investments complete their Initial Public Offerings: PAION in February on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, ARPIDA on the Swiss Exchange in May and PROSTRAKAN on the London Stock Exchange in June.
  • 2006 In one of the largest IT transactions in Europe in that year, German company GATE5 is sold to NOKIA in a deal generating an absolute gain of €40 million for Innoven Funds.
  • 2007 XTS, the third fixed-line phone operator in the Caribbean, Guyana and Réunion, is placed in receivership due to a failure to raise the capital needed for its development.
  • 2008 MERISTEM THERAPEUTICS, specialized in the plant-based production of gastric lipase to fight against digestive disorders related to cystic fibrosis, is placed in receivership due to impossibility to access capital.
  • 2009 BAUSCH & LOMB and 20/10 PERFECT VISION finalize Refractive Surgery Joint Venture.
